Proctor Lake, also known as Proctor Reservoir, is located along the Leon River of Texas. Proctor Lake Dam and the reservoir are managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The reservoir was impounded in 1963 and provides flood control, drinking water, and a popular recreational destination.

Proctor Lake has been stocked with multiple species of fish including largemouth bass, hybrid striped bass, catfish, and white crappie. Along with fishing, other popular activities include boating, swimming, and camping among other activities

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers also maintains recreational facilities at the lake, including four parks; Sowell Creek Park, Copperas Creek Park, and High Point Park, Promontory Park.
