Enjoy overnight lodging in one of Comanche's most historic buildings located on the courthouse square. Decorated with antiques but fully updated with modern conveniences for a comfortable stay. Located approximately 10 miles west of Circle T Arena, in Hamilton, TX. This quiet ranch retreat, known as the Bell House, is nestled in a native pecan grove on Artesian Cattle Ranch. Come escape the hustle and bustle of city life, or use us as a more private option for your stay during your equestrian activities at Circle T Arena. This is a working ranch with cattle, horses, hay and native pecan production along the Leon River. We raise our own all-natural Angus or Akaushi beef which is also available for purchase during your stay, a grill and grilling utensils are provided at the house. Dogs are welcome with a nightly pet fee. Please keep dogs leashed or within a fenced yard due to livestock. There is a horse pen available nearby, available at an additional charge, please contact us for more information. There is an attached 2 car garage as well. No firearms, please.

Welcome to Twisted Sister Ranch! Situated on 35 acres near Hico, Texas, this stucco-constructed house is a perfect destination for your next girl's getaway, family weekend or hunter’s sleepover. The main house is constructed in 3 "pods" – each being 1,000 square feet. The only doors inside the house are located in the bathroom areas, which allow amble air flow and flexible living spaces. As you enter the home, you will notice the beautiful exposed beams and Santa Fe feel. Concrete floors can be found throughout the entire home, making it very easy to keep clean. Located in the first “pod” is the kitchen and living room. The kitchen is well-equipped with a new refrigerator (black stainless steel with French doors) and a stove/oven. The kitchen is shared with the large living room area that includes a TV, stone fireplace, as well as a dining table. The second “pod” is a guest room, appointed with two queen beds, and blackout curtains for those that do not want to catch the sunrise. Also in this “pod”, is the pantry and laundry area, which sits behind the guest room area, separated by a wall. The pantry and laundry area is perfectly located next to bathrooms; allowing guests to wash pool clothes, towels, etc. during their stay. The guest bath has a glass block shower and full vanity. Last, but not least, the third “pod” is the master bedroom, which includes a large and impressive carved king bed with a sitting area overlooking the property and pool area. Just like the guest room space, this room also has blackout curtains for those that just want to sleep in. The master bath is well appointed with a claw foot tub/shower combo and large vanity. Outside on the covered patio, you will find a large dining table that seats up to eight guests comfortably, as well as a sitting area with a chimenea that overlooks the large in-ground pool. Also located outside is a giant bar and kitchen area, equipped with a grill, refrigerator and a sink – the perfect space for cooking hamburgers, steaks, or hot dogs while you watch your family or friends enjoying the pool/deck area. The property has two additional structures for use during your stay. Closest to the main house is the yurt, made of hay and stucco. This quiet retreat boasts a couch, bed and TV, and also has Wi-Fi if you need to set up an office or a virtual learning space. Just down the road, in sight from the main house is the cabin. The decorations are inspired by Ralph Lauren, and the owners wanted the look of an upscale cabin. This cabin has a small front porch, and a great size porch on the side of the building. The cabin is a great retreat for those that want to have their own space. Equipped with Wi-Fi and TV, this rustic cabin can also be a great place to just “Netflix and Chill”. Your days at Twisted Sister can be spent feeding the four llamas and two donkeys (they will eat treats out of your hand and love the attention). This ranch is the perfect spot to make memories. Twisted Sister is a short distance from downtown Hico (10 minutes). In our opinion, Hico is one of the most unique, friendly, and fun places in Texas with shopping, dining, and fun all around. Hico in non-COVID years hosts many festivals, retreats, and activities that guests will enjoy being apart of. Private guided ranch tours, picnics delivered, hunts, wildlife photography outings, sporting clay and target shooting, archery and stocked fishing tank excursions are all available. If you wish to skip the grocery store- your groceries can be awaiting your arrival. Please be aware that this is a ranch so there are spiders, snakes, raccoons, skunks, opossums, wild hogs etc. Bug Spray, snake boots & Sunscreen are a good idea depending on the time of year you come to visit. If you wish to park your boat here we have a covered location away from the campsite) The activities listed below are for both the ranch and the lake. Not all activities are on both the property and nearby. Most extras can be accommodated with an additional fee. We do have a full equestrian barn if you wish to bring your own horses. The barn is not adjacent to the tent. Please do not cut down any any trees or carve anything into them. Please clean up after your pup. If a burn ban is in effect by the county please do not have any open fires. There will be a Coleman propane cookstove for your food preparation. Interaction with Guests: In the age of social distancing, isolated time can still be quality time - especially when you’re unplugged and out in nature - and we want you to know that the Tentrr team and our hosts are working together to make sure you have a safe and relaxing experience. We have a very nice RV that is set up just above the pasture. It has views of horses and cows in green pastures. It looks over a small valley. This RV is close to Stephenville and is right in the heart of the Cowboy Capital! Just a few minutes from Lone Star Arena, Melody Mountain with Larry Joe Taylor, Lone Star Family Farm and many other great places to visit. The RV is very large with a King size bed. Large screen TV in the living room and a nicely laid out kitchen. If you want the comfort on a nice Hotel but the uniqueness of camping, you will love staying here!
